Landmark Properties Bulgaria Seek Land Plots to be Developed into Retail Parks
26.02.2007Landmark Properties Bulgaria, a property investment and management company looks for land plots suitable for the development of retail parks in Varna and Bourgas, on the Black sea. This was announced by Richard Macdonald, Landmark Properties management board chairman. Each of the projects is expected to cost EUR 40 million. The Luxembourg-based company invested about EUR 40 million in projects in Bulgaria in 2006. It also acquired 50% stake in Black Sea Rama AD, a company developing the golf course resort near Kavarna,last year. The investment in the project is expected to exceed EUR 200 million, Landmark Property officials said. Apart from the golf course project, the company has also invested in office buildings. Landmark Property plans to build office buildings with a total area of 500,000 sq.m. in Sofia. The company also has projects for retail centers in the cities of Plovdiv, Varna, Bourgas, Rousse, Blagoevgrad and Pleven.
