Equest Pays for Its Majority Stake in Super Borovets Project
09.03.2007British investment fund Equest has paid part of the sum for the acquisition of 51% in Rila Samokov 2004, the company specially st up for the implementation of the Super Borovets project. Equest has bought the majority stake from Glavbolgarstroy, the former top shareholder in the company. The project envisages the construction of a number of hotel complexes and villa complexes, over 80 km of ski runs and lifts having a daily capacity of 30k-35k people in the area of Samokov, Beli Iskar and Borovets. The Samokov municipality is to keep its 25% stake in the project.
