Maltese discover Bulgarian property market
10.04.2007Maltese and Spanish citizens are the new buyers of second homes in Bulgaria, the director of Asta Bridge, Anton Pankev, told Bulgarian magazine Focus. Investors from Malta look for homes in the high price bracket (E70,000 to E130,000) but they are also ready to buy land for their own projects. Their interest lies mainly in the mountain resorts. Foreign buyers participated in 29 per cent of all property deals in Bulgaria in 2006.
