Businessmen Have Acquired Cultural Monument in Russe
10.04.2007The Bobokovi Brothers foundation has bought the building of Rousse's High School of Music which is considered a cultural monument of national significance. The school is built in 1900 and is one of the city's landmarks, a door to Europe in the development of Bulgaria in the early 20th century. According to the agreement signed with the foundation set up by the two wealthy businessmen from Rousse the building has to be restored as per the requirements of the Bulgarian legislation. The building's emblematic architecture has to be preserved and half of the premises in the building have to be designated for the development of culture and arts. The building was sold for BGN 450,000, Darik radio reports.
