Spain's Ferry Group is Developing Two large-scale Projects in Bulgaria
18.04.2007The Spain's Ferry Group is developing two large-scale projects totalling over EUR 500 million in Bulgaria. The two projects have earned the investor two First Class investor certificates from InvestBulgaria Agency, the local investment promotion authority. Manuel Ferry Sanches, Spain’s Ferry Group president, presented 17 April the progress report on the Sports Center Katina project and the Green Energy Bulgaria project at Kempinski Hotel Zografski. The construction of Sports Center Katina is to cost over EUR 400 million. A 18-hole golf course, a 5-star hotel, single- and two- family houses, restaurants and retail outlets having a gross external area of 400,000 sq.m. are scheduled to be built over the next 10 years. The Alternative fuel project Green Energy Bulgaria is the most innovative one in the field of renewable energy sources. The company is to plant 60,000 decares with paulownia, a fast-growing tree used for the commercial production of fuel pellets.
